If you have visited WeArePhotographers.com over the past few days, you have seen that we've got a brand new look.   We’re so happy to introduce Phase Two of the site that incorporates a lot of the feedback from our users over the past 7 1/2 months.  Also, underneath the covers we’ve moved the site to higher performance hardware, mitigating a few issues that occurred during unexpectedly high web traffic we received.   Thanks for giving us that problem to deal with!

What’s changed on the site?  All of your favorite departments are still here - Learn Photography, Photo Gauntlet, Members Photos and Blog.  Primarily, we’ve simplified the top of our Home Page to allow faster access to new features and content.

The new home page gives us the ability to add extra departments over time without complicating the navigation.  We know your time is precious and wish to give you faster access to what you wish to read quickly.  Look for our new departments in the future and drop us an email with any suggestions.

Finally, we have over 500 pieces of quality content - with more than 40% contributed by our members.  When we looked at our Top 10 of 2009, we were amazed at the wonderful pictures and nuggets of wisdom that has accumulated.  We hope our new layout will make it easier for you to enjoy the information on our site.

We’re happy to be growing in popularity and content.  Our goal is to delight you and provide valuable information about photography from our unique WeArePhotogs perspective.  We value your input.
